Offers Training, Scholarships and Mini-MBA Courses for its Employees
In its pursuit of excellence through talent development, Saudi Readymix launches a virtual academy, with plans of creating a physical location for it in the near future. The Academy offers training and development programs of all sorts for employees, a scholarship program for students of vocational institutes and a mini-MBA program. All courses and programs provided by the academy are for high-potential current and future employees.
One scholarship program is in collaboration with the Saudi Petroleum Services Polytechnic (SPSP). The SPSP scholarship program sponsors 24 Saudi candidates to attend the institute and train for 2 years and then, upon graduating, directly join Saudi Readymix.
The mini-MBA program, on the other hand, is offered to 24 employees per year. Eligible high potential employees of Saudi Readymix (regardless of sex, grade or position) may qualify for the six months long six module miniature MBA program.
To manage the academy’s undertakings, Saudi Readymix has formed a Talent Review Board and charged it with reviewing eligibility, training and development of trainees, monitoring progress and certification upon completion.
Saudi Readymix is the leading producer and supplier of concrete in the Kingdom. The company employs over 3,300 employees and operates 33 ready-mixed concrete factories, 3 quarries and 3 concrete-block factories throughout the country.
